Pharmasave Salmon Arm is hiring a full-time Pharmacist. A fantastic place to work with experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful assistants. Hours of operation are 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Checking prescriptions for accuracy
• Counseling on prescription medications
• OTC counseling / health management consulting
• Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team
• Collaboration with pharmacy assistant to accurately dispense prescription medications
• Proficient in professional services (medication reviews, injections, adaptations)
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration
• OAT certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a retail Pharmacist (preferred)
• Experience in Kroll
• Experience working in a retail environment
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Experience doing med reviews & adaptations
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Computer proficiency
