Pharmacist (Full/Part-time)

Perth Downtown Pharmasave has a full or part-time (3-5 days/week) career opportunity available for a charismatic, motivated pharmacist to play an integral role within our exemplarily customer-focused and community-driven team.

We provide a patient focused environment which encourages our pharmacists to thrive professionally and make a difference in our community. We offer exemplary customer service and are relied on by our very loyal customer base for their healthcare needs. We welcome our customers by name and, in many circumstances, have provided care for their families for generations as we are the oldest pharmacy located in the same location in Canada.

Job description:

• accurately and efficiently performing clinical checks of prescriptions
• administering injections and immunizations
• counseling patients
• assessing patients for minor ailments
• collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• performing medication reviews when appropriate
• checking compliance packaging
• dispensing methadone for MMT

Store Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 9:00AM – 5:30PM,
• Saturday: 9:00AM – 4:30PM
• Sunday: Closed/li>

Compensation, Benefits:

• $50/hr

Perth Downtown Pharmasave is in the heart of historic downtown Perth, Ontario. A quaint town with a European flair conveniently positioned between Ottawa and Kingston. Perth is not only rich in history, but offers various festivals and fairs throughout the year, amateur theatre, markets, and restaurants. It is only a short drive from ski hills, hiking trails, provincial parks, and beaches.

Qualifications:

• Part A registration with OCP in good standing
• Proficiency with pharmacy software preferably Kroll
• Injection course
• Minor ailments courses
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service ability to be a team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
