Position Title: Merchandising Support Manager (Full-Time)
Administrative Support, Merchandising Department

Location: Pharmasave Drugs (National) Ltd. (Langley, BC)

About the Opportunity:

The Merchandising Support Manager plays a key role in the merchandising program support provided to the independent Pharmasave stores across Canada. The Merchandise Support Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Lead and Develop Team: Encourage engagement and individual growth within the Merchandising Support Group.
  • Foster Positive Environment: Ensure a positive workplace and align staff with company goals.
  • Manage Programs: Oversee merchandising programs, including workflow, timelines, performance, and budgets.
  • Oversee Marketing Initiatives: Supervise weekly flyers, monthly in-store programs, seasonal prebooks, markdowns, auto-ships, and bookings.
  • Improve Systems: Review and recommend improvements for merchandising systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate Across Departments: Work with IT, Master Data, Category Managers, Pharmasave Brand, and third-party chains to resolve issues and manage deadlines.
  • Support IT Enhancements: Act as the UAT representative for merchandising-related IT enhancements.

What you should have:

  • Ability to inspire and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear understanding of company goals and effective coordination across departments.
  • Experience in overseeing marketing initiatives such as flyers, in-store programs, and seasonal promotions.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects, including planning, executing, and monitoring workflows, timelines, and budgets.
  • Capability to review and improve systems, policies, and procedures, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues, clear bottlenecks, and manage deadlines
    effectively.
  • Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT, Master Data, Category Managers, and third-party chains.
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills
  • High School Graduation
  • Business Administration background considered an asset

  • An annual starting salary between $70,000 and $75,000 depending on relevant experience
