Pharmasave Holyrood is celebrating its official grand opening, Friday, April 7, at 11am.

This full-service pharmacy has been open since early February and has waited for the weather to improve before holding this event.

“Opening a new pharmacy in the middle of winter is challenging. We have been overwhelmed by the warm reception we have received over the last two months. It makes us proud to be part of this community,” said Kristina Myers, pharmacist and owner of Pharmasave Holyrood.

Each Pharmasave store operates independently to serve its individual community, ensuring that its programs and services meet the needs of its customers. Pharmasave also has independently-owned locations in Stephenville, Rocky Harbour and Forteau.

“We try to support our community and our province by stocking products made in Newfoundland and Atlantic Canada. We also have a wide range of skin care products,” said Myers. “And, of course, we have a full service dispensary for your prescription needs as well as providing a wide range of pharmacy services.”

Kristina Myers and co-owner Zach Hudson will be joined at the official grand opening by Ken McDonald, MP for Avalon and Jim Joy, Deputy Mayor of Holyrood.
