About Pharmasave

Ivan was appointed the new CEO of Pharmasave National in March 2023. With experience managing global business operations in Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and Mexico, he has worked for some of the world’s largest Consumer Packaged Goods companies such as Kimberly Clark and General Mills. His progressive, successful 20-year career focused on business management, marketing, and brand experience for a variety of global business divisions. As a champion of innovation and collaborative change, he understands how to leverage cross-functional teams to flawlessly execute comprehensive strategic plans.

Billy has the dual role of leading the pharmacy teams at Pharmasave National and Pharmasave East. A seasoned pharmacist with a passion for innovation, he is constantly striving to influence change and focused on the latest advances in patient-centred healthcare, interactive digital solutions, and enhanced medication management.

For over 25 years, Billy has been extensively involved with pharmacy associations and organizations.  He is a Past President of the Ontario Pharmacists Association, a Past Chair of the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and currently remains as an elected Board Director with the OCP.

Outside of his pharmacy life, Billy spends time with his family, runs marathons, and cycles to faraway places for charitable causes.

Francois leads the Business Technology team and is involved in tactical and operational planning for business technology and strategic planning for Pharmasave. He works with multiple software vendors and helps foster innovation with the pharmacy, merchandising, and marketing teams, continually striving for improved process efficiencies for stores. As well, Francois provides advice and counsel to management on the application of information systems for the organization.

Prior to joining Pharmasave, Francois worked in the enterprise application implementation field. He also brings over 15 years’ experience as a senior manager and has held positions in the IT and Finance areas.

Jackie Langlands leads the Marketing team, responsible for brand strategy, marketing communications, advertising, and e-commerce. She also leads the development and management of Pharmasave’s private brand portfolio, which consists of approximately 700 products across various categories. She has more than 25 years of experience in the food and drug industry, specializing in category management and private brand program management. Jackie is passionate about delivering value and quality to Pharmasave’s stores and customers while enhancing the brand’s reputation and recognition.

Robert has been with Pharmasave for 14 years and, during that time, has demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in the finance area. Throughout his career, he gained specialized expertise in tax and audit strategies and developed considerable experience with small and medium sized businesses. Robert also possesses excellent organizational and analytical skills and has a solid background in effective decision-making.

Robert received his CGA designation from the Certified General Accounts Association in Vancouver, BC and also received his diploma in Financial Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Provincial Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

Kelly Gryschuk joined Pharmasave National in 2024 as the new People & Culture Director leading the human resource function. With more than 15 years of experience working in progressively more senior roles within the retail sector, Kelly brings an inventive and cooperative mindset to people and workplace culture topics. Kelly is especially enthusiastic about using workplace learning to build organizational capacity. Her formal education in executive coaching and leadership development has supported Kelly’s work with team development, succession planning and talent management.

Chris leads the Pharmasave East team and oversees the delivery of the team who support Pharmasave stores in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. Chris and his team focus on the “Two Right Big Things”: exceed the expectations of our existing members and grow the membership. This approach, and the unwavering commitment to the cooperative and collaborative culture that defines Pharmasave, has ensured the success of our Shareholders, their stores and the loyalty of customers in the communities we serve.

Pharmasave programs and our employee team support our store teams to enable them to provide outstanding patient care and service to their customers and also by growing the Region, attracting only the highest quality pharmacists and owners.

Chris joined Pharmasave in 2005 when there were only 100 stores in Ontario. There are now over 500 stores in Pharmasave East. Prior to joining Pharmasave Chris spent 13 years working in various different roles in the retail pharmacy industry.

Greg joined Pharmasave in 2011 in Operations, becoming CEO of the Pacific (BC) Region in January 2016. Since 2020, Greg has been leading Pharmasave West, supporting the Region’s growth and key operational strategies in over 340 locations across British Columbia, Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Greg and the West Region team provide operational support and business expertise directly to Pharmasave franchise owners, covering all aspects of the community pharmacy model – from pharmacists’ evolving role in health care, to successful retail merchandising and strategic marketing initiatives – all tailored to meet the needs of our owners, their customers, and their communities. As Region Franchisor, Greg and his team are also responsible for the ongoing growth and success of Pharmasave in communities all across the West.

Beginning at UBC and having spanned over 30 years, Greg has gained experience working in several capacities, including as a published researcher, clinical pharmacist, Brand pharma, community pharmacy manager, and as a franchise owner himself. Greg has been a practice educator for UBC students, has served on various College committees, and spent several years supporting provincial and national advocacy efforts as a board director and Past President of the BC Pharmacy Association.
