We’ve all got a lot on our minds these days, and the last thing you need to worry about is getting access to your medications. Pharmasave wants to assure you that pharmacies are an essential service, and we will continue to support your healthcare needs. The way you get your medications from the pharmacy might change, but we are here for you.

There has been a significant increase in requests for prescription renewals and emergency refills and some confusion around the regulations that pharmacists must follow. Here are some ways your pharmacist can support you.

While pharmacists appreciate face-to-face interactions with their patients, to help keep both customers and staff healthy, please order your prescriptions without coming into the pharmacy whenever possible. You may notice that our phones are busier than normal so please have patience with us while we work to meet everyone’s needs. There are many ways for pharmacists to help you get your medications during the COVID-19 outbreak. If you have a new prescription or refill, we offer other convenient options to help you get your prescriptions filled. For instance, you can take advantage of our eCare@Pharmasave suite of digital health tools.

Visit Pharmasave.com or download our eCare@Pharmasave app to:

• Refill prescriptions by using the prescription number
• Transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy
• Include special instructions for contactless delivery or pick-up requests

If you have completely run out of your medication and do not have a current prescription, call your regular Pharmasave. During the COVID-19 outbreak, our pharmacists’ priority is to ensure that you have the medications you need, even if you have run out of refills.

We want to get your medication safely to you. Many Pharmasave pharmacies offer contactless prescription delivery and/or curbside pickup. If you have asked someone else to pick up your prescription, let your pharmacy team know ahead of time.

If you do need to come into the store, please be aware that pharmacies are practicing physical distancing (also known as social distancing) and we respectfully ask customers to follow the same practice.
