Minor Ailment Prescribing Service
In British Columbia, residents can book an appointment to see a Pharmacist for 21 minor ailments and prescription contraceptives.
We can help you with minor ailments that require timely treatment. These minor ailments are conditions that are less serious, but are quite common and bothersome. Most often these conditions can be treated on your own with the support of a pharmacist and may not require a visit to a doctor for treatment.
We can help determine the right treatment for you if you have the following:
Allergies, Cold sores, Contraception, Fungal infections, Heartburn (acid reflux), Hemorrhoids, Headaches, Impetigo, Indigestion (upset stomach), Itching (including from bug bites), Menstrual pain, Mild acne, Nicotine dependence, Oral fungal infections (thrush), Oral ulcers (canker sores), Pink eye, Shingles, Sprains and strains, Skin rash (dermatitis), Threadworms or pinworms, Uncomplicated urinary tract infection, Yeast infections
Book an appointment and select Morgan Creek Pharmasave or give us a call at 604-538-6333
Note that at the pharmacy, the Pharmacist will assess your symptoms or discuss your contraception needs with you. The Pharmacist will explain the best options for your care. You may get a prescription for medication, advice for self-care, or recommendation to see another health care professional for further assessment.
