Pharmasave Moosomin has a long history. The pharmacy has been under a few different banners since first established in the early 1900s. In 1984 the current building was rebuilt after a fire destroyed the bowling alley that once stood there.
In 1991, the pharmacy became a Pharmasave and a year later Darcy Rambold began working there as a pharmacist. Darcy enjoyed working with the staff and in 2001 he purchased the Pharmasave from Morgan Adam. Darcy continued to grow the business adding renovations to the outside of the building to create an old historic look to match the style of the other historic buildings in Moosomin and inside the building to help enhance the needs and experience of the customer. In the Spring of 2024 Darcy sold Pharmasave Moosomin and the Pharmasave Wellness and Mobility Centre to Legacy Pharmacies. Legacy Pharmacies is a Saskatchewan-owned company that currently operates pharmacies in Rocanville, Kipling, Redvers, Balcarres, Candle Lake, and Estevan.
