Influenza (Flu) Vaccine

The most effective way to decrease complications and reduce the impact of the flu is to get a flu shot.

Health Canada recommends everyone 6 months and older should get the annual flu vaccine as soon as it is available because it takes about two weeks after your flu shot for the protective antibodies to develop in the body. Get your flu shot early to protect yourself before flu viruses begin spreading in your community.

Adult Vaccinations

Did you know that only 3% of Canadian adults are fully vaccinated? Many adults don’t realize that keeping up to date on vaccinations isn’t just for kids. You can protect yourself and your loved ones against vaccine-preventable diseases by keeping up to date on your routine adult vaccinations.

We can help you determine which vaccinations are right for you, when it is appropriate to receive them and even administer most vaccinations in our pharmacy.

For information about adult vaccines in general please visit Pharmasave website here.

Adult vaccine injections possible: Shingrix with a Dr’s Rx or Prevnar without a Rx.
