Pharmasave Ladysmith is seeking a full-time pharmacist to join our team. We are looking for a pharmacist who will enjoy being part of our vibrant island community and developing relationships with patients and customers.

Hours of operation are 9am-7pm Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm Saturday, and 10am-5pm Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Verify completed prescriptions for accuracy
• Ensure personally filled prescriptions are cross verified by another pharmacy team member where possible
• Perform, supervise, and review the accurate adjudication and sale of prescription and other purchases using pharmacy software and point of sale (POS) system
• Provide patient counseling on prescription and non-prescription medications in accordance with the standards of practice and provincial regulatory requirements
• Effectively perform clinical services including medication reviews and adaptations
• Complete appropriate documentation and follow filing procedures
• Maintain a safe productive work environment through compliance with quality control policies and procedures
• Build professional relationships with patients, customers, other health care providers, and industry members
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• BC Licensed Pharmacist or eligible
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
• Injection certified
• New graduates welcome to apply
