Medication Review
A medication review is a one-on-one appointment with the pharmacist to discuss your medications and management. It will help you have a better understanding of each of your medications. The pharmacist will assess:
- if a medication is the right one for you
- if it is working effectively
- if you are experiencing any side effects
- if you would benefit from an alternative
- if you can stop the medication.
Medication reviews cost $60, unless you are eligible for a free one under Ontario Health Insurance Plan (read below for more information).

A medication review is FREE of charge once per year if:
- you have a valid Ontario Health Card
AND
- currently taking a minimum of 3 prescription medications for a chronic condition, or
- diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
