COVID Vaccinations
Who is eligible to receive a vaccine?
Pharmasave pharmacies are currently able to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to:
- All Albertans born in 1956 or earlier
- First Nations, Metis, and Inuit (FNMI) people aged 50 and older
- Staff and senior residents of licensed supportive living facilities
Eligibility will be confirmed before vaccination. Pharmasave pharmacists are unable to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to ineligible patients even if they have an appointment.
Community pharmacies do not have access to the AstraZeneca vaccine at this time. Albertans who are eligible for the AstraZeneca vaccine should book an appointment through Alberta Health Services or by calling Health Link 811.
