Eric Gaudet, Prescribing Pharmacist & Owner

In 2011, my wife and I took a big leap of faith. We dreamed of escape from the grind of our corporate lives. We imagined raising our family in a small town, instead of the big city, so we created a plan to move back to her hometown. I left my management job and was fortunate enough to go back to university and become a pharmacist. In July 2018, with a toddler underfoot and a newborn in our arms, we became the 8th pharmacist and owners of this pharmacy. We had big shoes to fill and an even bigger vision for how we could care for our community. The stars aligned and the rest, as they say, is history.

Small town life is amazing. Our dream has become reality as we live and work and raise our three little girls in our community. It’s truly an honour to be a pharmacist in a pharmacy with over 100 years of history. The landscape of healthcare has shifted and changed so much in that time, but no matter what, a pharmacist has stood on mainstreet Bashaw and provided expert care to our community.

Today, your pharmacy can provide more care than ever. As a prescribing pharmacist, with an advanced scope of practice, I’m focused on breaking down barriers to care in our rural slice of paradise. I’m so proud to provide access to healthcare – when and where my patients need it most. Our team includes pharmacists, technicians, and assistants and we work together to deliver the highest quality care to our patients. We know the healthcare system is big and complex, but your health does not have to be.

Every day when I come to work, I feel so blessed to be a part of our community and a part of your healthcare team.
