Our Team

Karen is the owner and operator of Main Street Pharmasave, having first taken ownership in 1998. Educated as a CMA (Certified Management Accountant), Karen wonderfully fulfills the role of managing the store from top to bottom. She enjoys the diverse layers of challenge that running a multi-faceted location brings. But she’s first to admit it’s the excellent staff that keep her going, and keep the store running so smoothly.

When not at the store, Karen enjoys running and yoga, and is found on many boards. Karen is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Pharmasave Drugs (Atlantic) Ltd., a director of Pharmasave Drugs (National) Ltd. and a director of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.

Another long time employee, David has been the Front Store Manager of Main Street Pharmasave since 1991, which is no small task considering the diverse products and services the store brings to the Souris Community. He enjoys that each morning it’s ‘a new job again’ as everything changes. The customers also keep him in good spirits, as he helps them find what they need, and fulfilling any new requests they may have.

David also loves to garden, play basketball, and watch the Toronto Maple Leafs.
