SPECIALIZED COMPOUNDING

Pelham Hills Pharmacy is proud to offer our clients the option of  Specialized Compounding.  We can facilitate the production of both sterile and non-sterile medications that are  based on an individual patients’ needs or doctor’s request.

Our pharmacists can arrange for unique formulations, dosage forms like lollipops, lozenges, troches, suppositories, capsules, chewable treats, creams, gels, sprays, suspensions and more!

Sometimes an ingredient in a commercially available medication may not be suitable for a client, then the specialized compounding option serves as a reliable alternative to delivery the required treatment.

Our partner facility is designed to meet the most current National Association of Pharmacy Authorities (NAPRA) Compounding Facility Standards.

Sometimes, medications are not available in dosage forms, strengths or combinations required to achieve the therapeutic goals of the physician and client.
