About Us
Stouffville Pharmasave opened in 2005 at 6601 Main St. in Success Square Plaza. In 2019, the pharmacy moved to its current location at the Stouffville Plaza, 5892 Main Street. The goal of being the best drug store in the community is top of mind every day of the year. Being recognized as the best Pharmasave store in Ontario in 2008 has not stopped us from continually trying to improve our services. In 2009 and again in 2019, the readers of the Sun Tribune voted Stouffville Pharmasave as the best pharmacy in Stouffville.
Giving back to the community has been an important part of our store’s DNA. Stouffville Pharmasave has supported many community organizations and charities over the past 15 years. Our charity BBQs have raised over $15,000 for Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Owner – Nayan Patel
Nayan is a pharmacist and the owner of Stouffville Pharmasave since it opened in 2005. Along with all the regular duties of a pharmacist, he specializes in diabetes education, travel health consults and specialty compounding. Nayan is passionate about providing great customer service and giving back to the community.
In 2015, Nayan was recognized by “Portraits of Giving” for his charity work involving Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Pharmacy Assistant – Anders
Anders is a pharmacy assistant at Pharmasave Stouffville. He can often be found cooped up in the compounding room working on compounded medication designed for the unique needs of each patient. A graduate of Niagara College’s Pharmacy Technician program, he is soon to become a registered pharmacy technician. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and tabletop role-playing games.
Pharmacy Assistant – Nicky
Nicky has been one of our pharmacy assistants for over 5 years. She works hard, loves penguins, travelling, organizing, and trying new recipes. She’s a young adult on the outside but a grandma on the inside. She fills your prescriptions and does so much more behind the counter.
Front Shop Manager – Kelvin
Kelvin is the Front Shop Manager at your local Pharmasave. He keeps our front shop stocked and healthy but if you need a special order, he’s the person for the job! Outside of the store, he’s an avid fisher, so let him know of any great fishing spots!
Pharmacist – Rakhi
Rakhi has been a pharmacist for 14 years and has been working at Pharmasave for 5 years. She likes to get to know her customers and provide the best care for them. She works part time at Pharmasave and full time at home, caring for her family!
Pharmacist – Crystal
Crystal started working at Stouffville Pharmasave in 2015 and has loved her journey here since. Being able to connect with her patients and contribute to their well-being is one of the things she loves most about being a Pharmacist. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family (including her dogs) and friends.
Pharmacist – Lara
Lara went to Pharmacy school in Boston, MA and graduated in 2017. She loves to learn and grow as a Pharmacist here at Pharmasave! Her favourite part is doing Medication Reviews because she gets to have a conversation with the patient about their medications, make sure the patient is well overall, and fill in any gaps that may be there! When she’s not working, she likes to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
