Our Story: Ralph and Averill Whitfield have a long history in Souris – starting when Ralph bought Hatch’s Drugstore on Crescent Avenue in 1956 and changed the name to Whitfield Drugs. Together with Dr. A.M. Grant and Dr. L.W. Knight, they built the Souris Medical Centre and Whitfield Drugs at 31 and 33 Crescent Avenue West. The original 1963 building was expanded in 1995. Today, the Whitfield Building is owned by Pam and Rod Whitfield. After extensive renovations to convert the building into a modern and fully accessible establishment, Pharmasave Souris opened this past October 2019. Pharmasave offers medication review and counseling, medication compounding, and free prescription delivery within Souris and Hartney. Pharmasave Souris is owned and operated by Duane & Lorie Davison and Pam & Rod Whitfield.
