January 2025 Updates

Blogging has not been my primary focus, as that is more aligned with Natalie’s interests. However, we have so much valuable information to share about our shop that it is time to give it a try.

As we enter January, we are eagerly looking forward to the opportunities and events this year will bring. Our community has some significant events on the horizon, and we are thrilled to be involved. The 2025 Viterra Championship, Manitoba’s men’s provincial curling championship, will take place from February 4–9, 2025, at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. The winning team will go on to represent Manitoba at the 2025 Montana’s Brier in Kelowna, British Columbia. It promises to be an exciting few days!

In addition, Stride is hosting a cheer leading competition from January 24-26, which should be a lot of fun.

Our shop has some exciting developments as well! For Christmas, our wonderful boss, Caitlin, purchased a robot to help streamline our operations. I will provide more updates once Brad arrives in early February.

We are pleased to share that Heather has become a certified bra and breast prosthetic fitter, partnering with Amoena. She has also received approval from Manitoba Health, allowing us to bill them directly if our clients have coverage! Additionally, we can process claims through Blue Cross and NIHB. These bras are exceptional, and the entire team is now wearing them. The core line features beautifully designed basics, and Heather recently previewed the summer line—it’s truly impressive, marking a new era for us! You can check out the line here
