About Us
Nelson Pharmasave was first established in 1981 and is managed by Chauncy Blair. From a historical perspective, it’s interesting to note that Nelson Pharmasave is also one of the first stores that formed the Pharmasave group of pharmacies. Located on the famous Baker Street in the beautiful downtown Nelson British Columbia, the store has over 8,000 square feet of floor space and is the only full-service pharmacy in Nelson. Among our many services, we also boast a very large Home Health Care and Cosmetics department too. Along our Hall St. wall we had a large mural painted during 1999 to 2000 by a local artist named Brian McLachlan.
Nelson Pharmasave’s claim to fame is its appearance in the 1987 film Roxanne which was filmed in Nelson, British Columbia. Next time you’re watching the movie keep and eye open for our store and staff! If you are in town be sure to take the audio tour of Nelson, British Columbia.
