Kris
Welcome Kris!
Kris is our new pharmacy manager, and grew up here on Vancouver Island. He is a UBC graduate, and has 10 years of experience in the pharmacy field. Kris loves that working at Pharmasave Westhill Centre brings him back to his family and roots here on the island. He also has found our staff very welcoming and friendly upon transferring here.
When Kris is not working, you can almost always find him playing guitar, listening to music, or mountain biking!
David
David graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1978. Shortly after, he then moved to Nanaimo BC where he has enjoyed serving and being part of the community. He has been a speaker at many health forums and used to be the writer of a monthly health column called “Ask the Expert” for the local newspaper. Afterwards, he became the Pharmacy Manager of Pharmasave Westhill Centre.
During his spare time David has dedicated himself to competing in Ballroom dancing, teaching aerobics, and Tai Chi. David believes that life’s journey is about finding the balance of “mind, body and soul”.
David will be retiring from Pharmasave Westhill Centre soon, but he will never be forgotten!
Linda
Wound & Continence Care
Ostomy NurseLinda Penny has been with Pharmasave Westhill Centre for 5 years now. She is specialized in Wound & Continence Car, as well as a trained Ostomy Nurse! She really enjoys being able to help each customer with their specific needs. In her spare time, she loves to read, camp, attend the theatre, and spend time with her friends.
Beryl
Beryl has spent many years as a Cosmetic Manager at Shoppers Drug Mart, Terminal Park. When Shoppers closed that specific location, Beryl joined the Pharmasave Westhill Centre Team!
Beryl used to be the writer of a popular cosmetic column in the local newspaper and has trained with a well known Victoria Dermatologist to be able to offer you up-to-date skin care knowledge. Beryl’s personal time consists of yoga, walking, her grandchildren and precious cats, camping, listening to music, and spending time at her mountain retreat enjoying nature.
Nancy
Nancy has worked at Pharmasave Westhill Centre since June 2012 and has been in the Home Health Care Department for the past 6 years. She enjoys the one-on-one personalized contact with each patient and being able to assist each one’s individual needs; be it ostomy, compression stockings, wound care, bracing, etc.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her Hubby and cats!
Kim
Kim is our new Home Health Care Assistant! She started in July 2019, and specializes in Custom fitted and sewn Ostomy Belts.
Her hobbies consist of reading, gardening, and sewing!
Helen
Helen is the Home Health Care Assistant and has been working in the department for eight months. Working with the amazing Home Health Care staff and customers has been a rewarding experience for her and she continues to learn many new things in this department. Her favourite thing about the job has been the variety of customers, each with their own amazing stories! She says, “I always look forward to coming to work. Pharmasave Westhill Centre has been a great place to work since the beginning!”
When Helen is not at work, she takes advantage of her spare time! Whether it’s going to the beach, cooking and trying new recipes, reading, crafts, or crossword puzzles!
Nikki
Nikki has been working in Pharmacies since 1995! She works in the Pharmacy Department at Pharmasave Westhill Centre and her main job is putting together Blisterpacks. Blisterpacks are to help people keep track of their medications and it ensures that the customer is consuming the correct amount of each medication, at the required time each day.
Nikki enjoys greeting the customers and helping them find exactly what they need. Her hobbies include walking, reading, and crafts!
Linda
Linda has been a Pharmacy Assistant for approximately 6 years with Pharmasave Westhill Centere. She loves the friendliness of our staff, and the customers. Her favourite hobbies are gardening and acrylic painting.
Lisa
Lisa Gregg has been working for Pharmasave Westhill Centre for 2 years as a Pharmacy Assistant. She enjoys helping the customers and working with such an amazing team of employees.
On her off time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also loves the outdoors, and dragon boating!
Natalie
Natalie has been working at Pharmasave Westhill Centre for 13 years, and is currently the Receiver. Her favourite thing about her job is the wonderful customers and regulars she gets to see everyday.
Spending time with her family and pets is one of her favourite hobbies. She also enjoys rollerblading, running, and walking her dog.
Jennifer
Jennifer likes working at Pharmasave because the other staff members have been welcoming and kind since the moment she was hired! She feels that her coworkers are like extended family and good friends. Her favourite things about the job are the friendly customers, and that it is always interesting, new, and fun!
Her hobbies include swimming, and reading (especially biographies), and humanitarian interests. She is also a huge music enthusiast!
Mac
Mac has been with Pharmsave Westhill Centre for 6 and a half years! She works customer service and as a front of store cashier. Her hobbies outside of work includes her cats, and love for cats, and more cats! She also enjoys walking, as well as spending time with her children, and grandchildren!
Cédric
Cédric has been working in customer service at Pharmasave Westhill Centre . A few of Cédric’s hobbies include: playing guitar, reading, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, and fishing! His favourite things about working at Pharmasave Westhill Centre are meeting a variety of new people, and being able to help them with what they need.
