FLU VACCINES – ALBERTA

Alberta Pharmasave pharmacies are providing the flu vaccine starting on October 17, the beginning of the provincial flu campaign. Find a Pharmasave location near you and book your appointment through the Alberta Vaccine Booking System.

Prepare For Your Appointment

• If you have COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms or have been told to self-isolate, please do not come to the pharmacy. Contact the pharmacy to reschedule your appointment for when you are well.
• Bring your health card with you to the pharmacy.
• Wear loose clothing with short sleeves. Vaccines given by injection will be given in your upper arm.
• You may be asked to wear a mask or face covering when receiving your flu vaccine.
• After your vaccine you will be asked to wait in the pharmacy for 15 minutes or as determined by the pharmacist.
• You may be asked to complete a consent form, or you may be asked to provide verbal consent to receive the flu vaccine. If your pharmacy has asked you to complete a consent form in advance, please find a consent form here.
