What is Blue Rewards?
As of June 2, 2026, the AIR MILES program at Pharmasave transitions to Blue Rewards. This means members can continue earning and redeeming value at Pharmasave through the new Blue Rewards program. Blue Rewards offers easy, everyday ways to earn and redeem points, supported by BMO and an expanded partner network.
At Pharmasave, 1,500 Points = $10* when redeemed in-store. You can also earn and redeem Points with other Blue Rewards partners.

Membership & Account Setup
Do I need to be a BMO customer to be a Blue Rewards member?
No, you do not need to be a BMO customer to become a Blue Rewards Member. However, BMO members can earn points faster through eligible BMO products such as a BMO Blue Rewards credit card or qualifying Chequing accounts.
Do I need an email address to participate?
Blue Rewards requires an email address to activate your account so that you can redeem your Blue Points for savings or merchandise. To enroll in the program, you must provide both a valid mailing address in Canada and a valid email address and you must be at least 16 years of age.
How can I check my Points balance & transaction history
You can access your Points balance and transaction history one of two ways:

How do I get a Blue Rewards card?

Do I need to replace the AIR MILES App with the Blue Rewards App?
If you have automatic app updates set up, your AIR MILES app will update to Blue Rewards automatically.
If you do not have automatic app updates turned on, you will see the AIR MILES app icon after the transition. When you tap to open the app you will be prompted with a “update app” screen. Follow the prompts to update to the Blue Rewards app.

Get Points on everyday purchases by using a BMO Blue Rewards credit card. Shop anywhere you like, pay with your card, and earn Points.

How do I use Points to pay for my purchases in-store?
At checkout, show your Blue Rewards card and let the cashier know you’d like to use Points toward your purchase.

- Your purchase must be at least $10 (before tax) in eligible items
- You need a minimum of 1,500 Points to redeem $10
- Points can be used in $10 increments, up to $750 per account, per day

Program Rules & Limits
Will Blue Points expire?
Blue Rewards is designed to help Members keep and use their Points. Your account will stay active as long as you earn or redeem Points at least once every 24 months. If there is no activity during that time, your account may become inactive and Points may be removed. Blue Rewards will typically notify you by email or online notice before your account becomes inactive. Keeping your email address up to date will help ensure you receive these reminders.

The 24-month period includes account activity prior to the transition from AIR MILES to Blue Rewards.
What is in-store redemption lock?
In-store redemption lock is a Blue Rewards feature that helps keep your Points secure. When it’s turned on, your Points can’t be used for in-store purchases until you unlock them. If you’re unable to use your Points at checkout, this feature may be turned on in your account. You can manage your settings online or in the app:
Online:
Visit bluerewards.ca > help > security center > lock in-store redemption, or sign in to your account and go to your profile to find the “in-store redemption lock” section
In the app:
Go to Account, scroll to “Manage Balance,” and select “in-store redemption lock” to turn it on or off
You can still earn Points while the lock is on. Just remember to unlock it before redeeming in-store.
Account Changes & Transactions
What happens to my Points if I return an item?
If you return an item that earned Points, Points may be adjusted accordingly. You will see the details in your Member account transaction history.
After I make a purchase, when will I see the Points I earned in my account?
At Pharmasave, you’ll usually see Points from base offers appear right away after your purchase. Bonus offer Points may take longer and can take up to 120 days to appear in your account.
Across the Blue Rewards program, the timing can vary by partner.
Support & Troubleshooting
What if I don’t see the Points I earned?
At Pharmasave, Points from base offers usually appear right away after your purchase. Bonus offer Points can take longer and may take up to 60 days following the offer period to appear in your account. If you’ve made an eligible purchase and your Points have not appeared after 60 days, you can submit a Missing Transactions request through Blue Rewards.

What happens to my AIR MILES account and Collector number?
Your AIR MILES account has transitioned to Blue Rewards, with no changes to your account or value.
Here’s what to know:
- Your Miles have been converted to Blue Points with no loss in value
- Your account details and activity history remain the same
- Your Collector number stays the same and is now called your “Member number”
- Your AIR MILES card continues to work after the transition
