Reporting to the Region Manager, Operations, the Territory Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with members and their teams to achieve optimal sales revenue and profitability in both front store and pharmacy through effective implementation of the Pharmasave Program at store level.

What you will be doing:

  • Based in the Edmonton area, visit Pharmasave stores within your assigned territory to provide support to owners and teams in all aspects of front store and pharmacy operations – from category management and business planning to program support and training
  • Work with stores to assess systems and procedures recommending improvement, as needed in all areas of general operations and provide guidance on how to further optimize day to day performance
  • Oversee brand standards and the execution of Minimum Store Standards
  • Collaborate with operations and pharmacy team members to assess Pharmasave program implementation and develop plans to improve uptake and overall success
  • Take a leadership role within the team on assigned operational programs offering support and feedback
  • Support the growth and success of Pharmasave franchisees across Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB)

  • Able to understand varied operational challenges within independent pharmacy and provide individualized solutions to help resolve them
  • Someone who embraces change, new learning opportunities and thrives in an entrepreneurial yet highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Solutions-focused; a proactive thinker who shows initiative with the ability to translate into results
  • A people person who is able to laugh and have fun at work

What you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years at a management level, preferably retail with supervisory responsibilities
  • Familiarity with POS operations and business related reports
  • Understanding of the pharmacy industry an asset
  • Ability to frequently travel to stores (primarily AB) and business meetings within Canada
  • Flexibility in scheduling; ability to adapt to meet the demands of the company
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Strong sense of trust, teamwork, and community
