Pharmasave On Centre is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining records, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a dedication to providing quality care. Hours of operation are 9am to 7pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm Saturday, 10am to 5pm Sunday and 11am to 5pm Stat holidays.


Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Dispense medications and other health care products to patients and customers
  • Maintain records of medications and other health care products dispensed
  • Answer customer questions about medications and other health care products
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions
  • Maintain inventory of medications and other health care products
  • Process insurance claims for medications and other health care products
  • Be familiar with AADL and all services
  • Follow proper safety procedures when handling medications and other healthcare products
  • Ability to compound an asset and knowledge of Kroll


  • Registered Pharmacy Technician accreditation
  • Pharmacy: 2 years (required)
  • Compounding: 1 year (preferred)

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills. They must have an interest in maximizing patient care. Patient focused care must be provided including med reviews, care plans and follow up documentation. Participation in strategies to grow the business including OTC counselling and product knowledge.
