Pharmacy Services and Programs Coordinator

The Opportunity

We are excited to share this opportunity for a full-time PHARMACY SERVICES & PROGRAMS COORDINATOR.  With direction from the National Pharmacy Program Manager, this position is responsible for creating, sourcing, and maintaining tools and educational resources to support pharmacy services and programs, supporting pharmacy writing initiatives, communicating department and program information, and providing administrative and project management support.

What you will do…

  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of programs, including editing, production, and distribution.
  • Liaise with vendors to utilize vendor programs, tools, and resources
  • Communicate ideas, plans and strategies with internal and region pharmacy teams, as well as members, store staff and vendors
  • Create simplified step-by-step how-to documents, and flowcharts, along with copy development and revision of program materials (memos, presentations, manuals, guides, etc.)
  • Develop tips and templates to be used by pharmacy staff
  • Write, collect, compile, edit and format content for monthly e-newsletter
  • Provide administrative and project management support
  • Establish training and education plans to support core pharmacy programs
  • Maintain and manage resources on the internal Pharmacy Portal
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to support the promotion of pharmacy services and programs
  • Actively keep up to date on the latest health trends and tools related to pharmacy practice

What you will bring…

  • High school diploma and post-secondary education (Business, Communication, Marketing, or related field.)
  • 1+ year working experience (pharmacy environment, an asset)
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills in English; 2nd language an asset
  • Ability to edit, proofread and write multi-medium content for various purposes and audiences
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with others
  • Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, and proactively seek answers
  • Problem solving savvy; respectful curiosity
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Working knowledge of computers and business office software (including MS office) and equipment
