Pharmasave Dominion is hiring a full-time pharmacist licensed in Alberta for a full-time Pharmacy Manager role. We are looking for talented colleagues who are passionate in providing exceptional customer service and building long lasting professional relationship with our customers.

Hours of operation are 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm Saturday and closed Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your duties will include·

• Ensuring comprehensive patient care and seamless customer service for all pharmacy customers
• Ensuring accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications
• Ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of compounded medications
• Leading and performing clinical services such as vaccine administration and medication reviews
• Managing and motivating team members
• Recruiting, hiring, and training team members
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Work location: In person
• Other duties as required

Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of prescription abbreviations
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
• Experience in patient care, particularly in pediatrics or acute care settings, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and regulations

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a management role (preferred)
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Pharmacist: 2 years experience (preferred)
• Pharmacy Licence and in good standing
• APA (preferred)

Please note this is a Licensee position, and a valid pharmacist license is required for this position.  You will be required to work with the Front Store Manager to ensure a seamless workflow.
