Pharmacy Assistant – Salt Spring Island

Pharmasave Salt Spring Island is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We need Experienced Compounding Pharmacy Assistant/Technician for a well-established compounding pharmacy in a rural area. Formulas and SOPs are already in place. With no evening shifts and schedule flexibility, our business appreciates the importance of work-life balance.

Hours of operation are 9:00am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Saturday, and Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Able to handle 10-20 compounds per day
• Non-sterile setting
• WHIMS training
• Familiarity with NAPRA

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible availability (including some weekends)
• Good organization, effective communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills
• Previous pharmacy experience considered an asset
