Pharmasave Glenbrook is hiring a Full-time and / or Part-time Pharmacy Assistant. We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy, striving to provide the best customer service to the community.

Hours of operation are 10am-7pm Monday through Friday, 12pm-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Providing exceptional patient care and customer service
• Data entry, labeling, and packaging prescriptions
• Managing third party insurance adjudications and record keeping
• Assisting in the preparation of compounded medications
• Processing transactions through the till
• General housekeeping, inventory management, and merchandising as required
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible availability (day, evening, and weekend)
• Good organization skills and attention to detail
• Two or more years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Experience with Kroll dispensary considered an asset
