Pharmasave Creston is hiring a Full-time and / or Part-time Pharmacy Assistant. We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy, striving to provide the best customer service to the community.

Pharmacy students are welcome to apply! Creston can accommodate Pharmacy students and interns immediately, providing a great chance to learn and gain experience as well as possible future hiring possibilities.

Hours of operation are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday, and 10am-3pm Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Patient greeting and confirmation of the accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information into Kroll workflow system
• Third-Party adjudication where required and necessary
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up,
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
• Rx data entry
• Adjudicating
• Count / Label tablets and / or doses
• Pick -up and Drop off
• Other duties as required

• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Continued professional competency through ongoing participation in professional development activities
• Professional attitude and the ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, suppliers, and other members of the healthcare community
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Strong motivation to succeed
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills
