Pharmasave Willow Point is hiring a full time Pharmacist. Pharmasave Willow Point has been serving Campbell River and the surrounding areas for over 25 years. Hours of operation are 9am-6pm Monday through Saturday, 10am-5pm Sunday, and statutory holidays.

The position is for a full-time staff pharmacist (32-40 hours a week)  and shifts would be primarily Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends, and no evenings or nights. You would be required to work at our Pharmasave Bridge sister location when needed (1-2 days a week and vacation coverage). Pharmasave Bridge is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm closed weekends and statutory holidays.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care and exceptional customer service
• Ensure accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications
• Performing clinical services such as vaccine administration, minor ailment prescribing and adaptations, and medication reviews
• Completing appropriate documentation for all patient care activities

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration
• Completion of OAT Training Course
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Kroll experience is an asset
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Professional attitude and the ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, suppliers, and other members of the healthcare community
