Pharmacist – Taber

Pharmasave Taber is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with practitioners. Our mission at Pharmasave is to offer exceptional patient centered care in an inclusive and professional pharmacy. Our priority is the health and wellness of our patients and are committed to the full scope of the clinical practice of pharmacy.

Hours of operation are 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Providing comprehensive patient care and exceptional service to customers
• Ensuring accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications
• Completing appropriate documentation for all patient care activities
• Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
• Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care
• Performing clinical services such as vaccine administration and medication reviews
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacists
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Injection certification required and Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Kroll experience an asset
