Pharmacist – Taber, AB

Pharmasave Taber is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with practitioners. Hours of operation are 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Providing comprehensive patient care and exceptional service to customers
  • Ensuring accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications
  • Completing appropriate documentation for all patient care activities
  • Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
  • Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care
  • Performing clinical services such as vaccine administration and medication reviews
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacists
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Injection certification required and Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Kroll experience an asset
