Pharmacist – Richmond (Hamilton Village)

Pharmasave Hamilton Village, located on the border of Richmond and New Westminster, is seeking a part-time pharmacist to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to collaborate with practitioners as we are attached to a family practice clinic.

Our mission at Pharmasave is to offer exceptional patient centered care in an inclusive and professional pharmacy. Our priority is the health and wellness of our patients and are committed to the full scope of the clinical practice of pharmacy.

Hours of operation are 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm Saturday, and closed Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families
• Provide clinical services where appropriate (med reviews, adaptations, injections, etc.)
• Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• A Canadian Pharmacist license and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
• Injection certification and OAT training certification
• Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin are an asset
• Experience with Kroll is an asset
