Pharmasave Shoal Lake is looking for a dynamic, experienced and committed Pharmacist to take a managerial role in our community retail pharmacy. Our welcoming, agricultural community has so much to offer. Just an hour northwest of Brandon, and forty-five minutes from Riding Mountain National Park. An excellent location to call home with affordable housing, short commutes and access to all the essentials like healthcare, groceries, hardware, retail clothing, bank, credit union, car dealership, restaurants, pub, daycares, K-12 school, and playgrounds.

Hours of operation are 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Oversee pharmacy department operations
• Ensure customers are prescribed the correct medicine
• Set up care plans, follow up, and document outcomes
• Compile relevant patient, drug and disease information
• Monitor medication adherence
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with Manitoba Pharmaceutical regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers relating to queries and issues
• Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to customers
• Guide staff to interact professionally and courteously to customers at all times

Qualifications

• Pharmacy License with College of Manitoba Pharmacists
• Injection Certification preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drugs to treat ailments
• Able to provide clear and concise instructions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Self-driven and motivated to increase efficiency and performance
