We have a full-time career opportunity available a pharmacist who is interested in providing comprehensive patient care and services in our wonderful community.  This position provides an opportunity to engage in every aspect of pharmacy practice over and above regular dispensing duties.

Pharmacy specifics:

• Full-service pharmacy including:
  • Compounding services
  • Opioid agonist management therapy (methadone and suboxone) and patient counselling
  • Injection services including vaccines (travel, flu, and COVID-19), and other approved injectables
  • Medication reviews
  • Minor ailments assessments and prescribing
• Provide medication services for two long term care homes and one retirement home
• Excellent relationships and collaboration with local health care providers including consulting services to a small community pharmacy, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Pharmacy technicians and assistant team members
• Kroll pharmacy software

Position specifics:

• Regular dispensing duties as well as minor ailments assessments and prescribing, injections, compounding
• Consulting with local hospital physicians, nurses, and care team
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and support staff, overseeing where necessary
• Develop policies and procedures for LTC and retirement homes serviced by the pharmacy

Employment package:

• Full-time hours.  Pharmacy hours that promote work-life balance: Weekdays until 6:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The pharmacy is closed Sundays.
• Competitive hourly wage – $65-$68

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
