Pharmasave Jasper is growing!  We’re hiring 2 full-time Pharmacists.  Located in Jasper National Park where the beauty of Jasper prevails.  We provide an experienced and supportive team in an independently owned and owner operated retail pharmacy that offers patient centered care. Our health care is unique as we serve people from all over the world as well as our loyal local community. We build long term relationships and provide unparalleled support. Our mission at Pharmasave is to offer exceptional patient centered care in an inclusive and professional pharmacy. Our priority is the health and wellness of our patients and are committed to the full scope of the clinical practice of pharmacy.

Hours of operation are 9am-7pm Monday through Sunday.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Checking prescriptions for accuracy
• Counseling on prescription medications
• OTC counseling / health management consulting
• Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team
• Collaboration with pharmacy assistant to accurately dispense prescription medications
• Proficient in professional services (medication reviews, injections, adaptations)
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D
• Injection Certification and APA (or working toward)
• Pharmacy license to practice in the province of Alberta (or in progress)
• A desire to meet patient’s needs both in the dispensary as well as the OTC aisles
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Enjoys small town living and an active, balanced lifestyle
• Good communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Computer proficiency
