Pharmacist – Delhi, ON

Delhi Pharmasave is a currently looking for a full-time or part-time staff pharmacist to join our highly collaborative, experienced, dynamic and proactive team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and assistants as soon as possible.

Delhi Pharmasave is a locally owned and operated independent community pharmacy that takes an active interest in optimizing the health and wellness of our community. We are Located only a short drive from Simcoe, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Paris, or Brantford and minutes from the beaches in Southwestern Ontario.

The successful candidates must have a passion for community practice, a willingness to practice to the full extent of their scope and be committed to providing optimal pharmaceutical care in an environment that is invigorating, positive, friendly, collaborative and team oriented.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance of prescription technical and therapeutic verification.
  • Performance of medication reviews and completion of appropriate documentation.
  • Identification and resolution of actual and potential drug therapy problems during therapeutic verification and/or medication reviews, and completion of appropriate pharmaceutical opinion documentation.
  • Knowledge and skill surrounding vaccine administration.
  • Collaboration and delegation for the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care and promoting innovative community pharmacy practice.
  • Performance of any other duties or activities as mutually agreed upon by both the individual and the designated manager.
  • Practice within the full extent of the scope of practice for pharmacists in Ontario as set forth by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacist (Part A) in excellent standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • Experience in community pharmacy practice preferred.
  • New grads and interns welcome to apply.
  • Injection Certificate
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Experience with Kroll would be an asset
  • Must be available some evenings and weekends

What We Provide

  • $54.00 – $58.00 / hour (based on experience)
  • 32-40 hours/week
  • Staff discount
