About the Opportunity:
The Payroll & HR Coordinator plays a key role on the People & Culture team. This role’s responsibilities include:
- Processing Payroll: Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees working at the National Office.
- Compliance: Ensuring all payroll transactions comply with tax laws and employment standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
- Updates: Updating payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.
- Issue Resolution: Resolving any payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Reporting: Preparing and distributing payroll reports to managers and stakeholders as required
- Employee Support: Answering employee questions and concerns regarding payroll.
- Tax Forms: Processing and issuing employee tax forms as required.
- Auditing: Conducting audits and verifications of payroll records as required.
- Accounting: Provide accounting support as directed by the finance department

What you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in a small business independently administering payroll.
- Excellent working knowledge of a payroll platforms and Canadian payroll legislation and process.
- Familiarity with payroll reconciliation and payment remittance employee benefits, etc.
- Proficiency in MS applications of Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
- Experience using basic accounting principles.
What we offer:
At Pharmasave National, we provide:
- An annual starting salary between $58,000 and $63,000 depending on relevant experience.
