Front Store Manager – Caledon East, ON

Gunter Apothecary Pharmasave located in Caledon East, On, is seeking a front store manager starting in early September 2024.

We are a Pharmasave Health Centre, located in Caledon East, in one of the greener parts of the GTA. Surrounded by farmland, we have been in operation for just over 20 years and are part of a growing community. Join our small, friendly team and help us continue to improve and grow, serving the health and wellness needs of the area.

What you can expect as a member of our team:

• 25-30 hours/week
• Weekdays, no evenings. Occasional Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Owner, the Front Store Manager is responsible for overall profitability of the front store. They oversee the day-to-day operations of a retail store’s front end, including staff, inventory, merchandise, budgeting, and customer service. The Front Store Manager plays a key role managing the store in the absence of the Owner.

• Delegating effectively to achieve daily results.
• Managing and motivating staff.
• Meeting or exceeding budgeted results in inventory control.
• Provides excellent customer service including effective problem resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Strong team player with the ability to delegate responsibilities and empower employees.
• Two years of retail experience.
• One year of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong computer and POS skills.
• Good understanding of financial and operational information.
• Strong organization and leadership skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with Workplace Health and Safety rules and regulations.

Compensation

• $25-30/hr, depending upon experience.
