Important Testing Requirements

 

If you are currently experiencing any symptoms, we cannot test you at our location. We only accept asymptomatic testing at our location for travel or other personal reasons. If you are experiencing symptoms, please follow the isolation guidelines set up by Alberta Health Services.

If you have been outside the country in the last 14 days and are not fully vaccinated, we cannot test you at our location. Proof of vaccination may be required before your appointment.

 

Rapid Antigen Tests – $39.99/Test 

 

Rapid Antigen tests are processed in-store with results available within 30 minutes. We will provide official documentation showing your results by either providing a physical copy or by email. Official COVID-19 rapid testing can be used for travel or personal reasons.

For any time restrictions, the time begins when your swab is taken and not when you receive the results

Do I need to book an appointment?

YES. Appointments are REQUIRED for RAPID COVID-19 TESTS.

 

Can I call to book an appointment? 

No. We only accept appointments for our COVID-19 tests through our booking website.

 

I tested positive recently, can I book an appointment to get tested?

Yes, but only if you meet the following requirements:

  • You are fully vaccinated (at least two doses) and have isolated for 5 days after you tested positive or began experiencing symptoms — 10 days if you are not fully vaccinated (one dose or less).
  • You have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

If you have not completed your required isolation period or you are still experiencing symptoms, you must continue to isolate and cannot enter the pharmacy.

 

I tested positive for COVID-19 recently but have recovered. If I test again will the result be another positive?

It is possible to test positive after you have recovered from COVID-19. Since it affects people differently, we cannot guarantee what your result will be.

 

Can I bring my significant other, children, or a friend with me to my appointment and have them tested at the same time?

No. Each person who needs a test needs to book their own appointment. We do not have the extra time, staff, or supplies to do additional testing.
