Rental Costs

$100 Security Deposit

Rental Process

A valid Canadian driver’s license and a credit card are required for the rental. These must match the person filling out the paper work. This information will be entered into a Medela Rental Agreement that will be signed and dated by the renter. Your partner, relative, or friend cannot fill out the form and sign on your behalf. 

The rental includes the machine and power cord. The accessories are not available for rent for hygienic reasons but a Medela Symphony Pump Set can be purchased separately. Other Medela accessories are not compatible with the Symphony so if you do not already have these, the kit will be needed. 

A $100 security deposit is needed at the time of rental and it must go on the same credit card given for the agreement. This deposit will be refunded to the credit card once the pump has been returned to us. The credit card provided will then be charged on a monthly basis, beginning at the end of your first month. If you have had the pump for less than a month when it is returned, we’ll charge by the day. 

We ask that the pump and the carry case be wiped down with either a disinfectant wipe or warm soapy water before it is returned. We sanitize everything between rentals so it is for our benefit. If it is not wiped down when returned there is a $40 cleaning charge.

If the pump is brought back with any missing pieces (case strap, power cord, etc.), you will be charged for those as well.
