Self-care is always important but even more so around the holidays when life is usually at its busiest. Sometimes the hectic nature of holiday shopping, baking, events and a never-ending to do list increases stress. Add that to the ever-changing protocols in this extraordinary time, and an increased level of anxiety can present itself. Taking time for self-care will help to reduce your overall stress level and anxiety and allow you to better enjoy the season. Some benefits to self-care include:

  • improved sleep

Pamper Yourself with These 5 Ideas

There are many different ways to pamper yourself and it’s not one-size fits all. Some people find that pampering themselves physically is the way to go, others prefer to take some time to immerse themselves in a creative art project. Baking or savouring delicious treats can also be a way to pamper yourself during the holidays. Whatever it looks like to you, here are some ideas to get started:
